City Plan - Road Widening

Further to Mapguy's post, I have checked with CM First Church and there is definitely a meeting regarding the new city plan, tonight at 7pm.

It is on the Nawarat bridge intersection (before Riverside restaurant ).

Inside the First Church compound, sala near old church building.

Rumour that PM attending (not sure), City Mayor, rep. from Mor Chor etc.

Be there or be square (or maybe rather wake up and find your self living in the middle of a freeway).

Why won't someone mention, instead of spending all that money on widening streets and upsetting the business owners, make the entire length of the streets 'no parking'. Okay that only solves half the problem, but you will not have to have meetings, protests, etc and the police could enforce the no parking during business hours.

I think that someone has been having a piece of you here sal.

PM coming to Chiangmai to oversee a meeting about widening a few roads.

It would be nice though to listen to Abhisit as he is one of a handful of Thais who can speak proper English (as it were meant to be spoke)

But I'm gonna be square ......

I agree with you completely, but even the woman on the phone at the church seemed to think he might be coming.

Yes, and having just read the editorial (commentary column) I see that.

BUT don't anyone think he might be just a tad busy right now :o
