I went yesterday to do some small purchases at Carrefour, I only had a look at my bill this morning an saw :

Popped in for a 99 Baht pack of pasta, only cost 92 Baht, whish I had put off our big shop and no, card was not scanned.

told me it was some sort of promotion lasting 4 days,but doesnt include any booze!!!! but if you r buying a lot then its not a bad deal.i have no idea why theres a promotion and didnt see anything in english written about it anywhere there........its a bit strange giving a discount but not informing the shoppers somehow beforehand,defeats the object.oh well nothing surprises me here anymore

Ive been looking around the supermarkets and the prices are way above what they should be.......they sell Thai tuna in the UK cheaper then what they do in Thailand, whereas a block of UK cheese costs 3 times the amount in LOS, maybe they fly it in business class.
