Sakae Sushi - Japanese Restaurant

Featured Replies

Sakae Sushi used to be at Kad Suan Kaew - closed there, and opened at Big C Hang Dong.

Now a second restaurant at Lotus Tesco - Kamthieng.

Upstairs opposite Watsons. In the space that once was the Lotus liquor dept. prior to renovations.

I asked for and received a "Membership Card" - valid to 31.12.2009.

Maybe they are giving extra discount as opening promotion - but I am getting 20% discount when using the card / paying cash.

The card gives a 10% discount on food cost when paying cash. 5% for credit card.

Not as "posh" as Fuji - but suits my budget. Full menu or just choose from the "sushi train".

I always found Fuji and Zen to be a better deal with better food when they first opened. Has something changed?

The people, who run Sakae Sushi must have a lot of money. The branch at Big C is a big flop. I wonder when I ever saw a customer there. So obviously they have to open a new branch.

I tried them once, when they were still at the Central Kad Suan Kaew. I think Fuji is better and cheaper.

I always thought the 5 and 10 baht sushi at the local markets in town was a pretty good deal. Cheap and taste good.
