Yes, a tourist visa. I am interested in the plane ticket out of Thailand and also the hotel reservation.

I can bring my house lease, but they may truely want to see that I stay in a hotel... NON-permanent residency. The ticket: My travel agent can make that for me.

When you apply for a tourist visa they don't ask for a hotel reservation and/or plane ticket. You make a copy of your house lease for them, and on the application form you write as reason for visit 'family visit'. That is it.

No problems, no hassle at all.

Henri.

Forgot to say that if you apply for a NON-IMM O (family visit), they like to see a copy of the ID-card and Family record book of your wife, and a house lease or rental agreement. Statement from the bank or pension fund, as mentioned in 6.4, are not asked for.

When I apply for a tourist visa I always write “tourism” as the purpose of my visit, even if it is my wife, who usually arrives a couple of weeks before me in Thailand, I am going to stay with.
