Extension Based On Child Support

Featured Replies

Does anyone have recent reports of getting a renewal extension on child support at Suan Phlu?

Are financial requirements already applied? In that case, has the money to be deposited in the bank 2 month prior to extension renewal?

Has this money to be transfered from overseas?

In the case of a retirement it is clearly stated but not in case of an extension based on child support.

Thanks

They are enforcing the money clause now in most cases. For a support of a child if you are a single (unmarried) parent there is no requirement for the money to be in the bank for 60 days. It does not have to be shown to be from outside the country.

the only worry is that if you put money in the bank a day or week before you apply then THEY decide it should have been in there 2 months before then you will be stuck...i know it doesnt say this on the new immigration rules but they can say what they like when you get there!!!!
