Hk Visa's For Thai/uk Dual Nationalalities

Featured Replies

I want take my Daughter & her Mum ( we're not married ) to HK Disney in March & am wondering what the deal would be with my Daughter as she has botha UK & Thai Passport & i'm not sure what Passport she would need to exit Thailand & what Passport she would need to get the HK Visa in..

Would i be right in assuming she ( Daughter ) should Exit & Enter Thailand using the Thai Passport & Enter & Exit HK, with the Visa, using her UK Passport ??

Any help would be much appreciated..

Yes

If she is using a Brit PP does she need a visa for a short holiday? I didn't think you did.

With visa or w/o, Thai PP out, Brit PP into HK.

Brit PP out of HK, Thai into Swampy.

I believe you need to show ( if requested ) funds to support yourself and a return ticket.

However, if you wish to travel to the mainland, you require a VV.

I believe all this to be correct, but also understand if someone proves it to be incorrect.

Thanks very much for the replies Chaps...

I'll have to have a look if i need the Visa then for us both ( Myself & Daughter ) as w'ere only going for a short holiday, 3 or 4 days..

Thanks again, appreciate it..

Thai passport holders don't need visas to enter HK.

As a dual passport holder myself, when travelling from Thailand, I usually use my Thai passport. But using the British one is fine as well.
