Before I came I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled and I got a prescription for Tylenol with codeine. I am now looking at having the other side done but I noticed none of the pharmacies carry this, just various and sundry ibuprofen. I called up my dentist and I am arranging to have something shipped from the states but it is going to cost a good bit. Is there something I am missing?

Yes. It is a controlled substance. do NOT have some shipped as you could end up in serious legal trouble.

It is available from any hospital and while Thai docs tend to be unusually skittish about prescribing iopiates I imagine most dentists would be willing to give you a 24 hour supply post wisdom tooth extraction.
