Tot Internet

Featured Replies

I just moved into a condo in Bangkok with a TOT line and bestcyber 1 meg at 590 per month. It works ok for surfing but doesn't download faster than 60-70kbs ánd with many interuptions.

Does it make sense to upgrade to the 1.5 or 2 meg cyberbest? There is a business package at 1500 baht per month for 1 meg. Is that my best alternative if I want reliable downloads and streaming video?

Maxnet Premier in Chiang Mai was pretty good in retrospect at 1000 baht for 2 meg.

I suppose its always just luck, but what has worked for you.

Thanks for your information.

I have a 2Mb TOT connection. It certainly speeds up your download (particularly with download managers). Most of the time I get 200-224 kBs.

I had a TOT connection here in Pattaya with 2 Mb. At the same time I had a 2Mb Maxnet Indy. To keep a long story short - TOT was a nightmare. The speed for international connections was slow compared to Maxnet. Streaming video with TOT an endless problem - often not possible. Speeds at 2 - 5 Kb. At Maxnet the same videos with up to 222 Kb. On top of this even my phone at the TOT line did not work for days very often. No problems at all with the TT&T line. I am happy with Maxnet. TOT internet destroyed my day whenever I used it...
