This kind of post really hacks me off..... Chiang Mai is more than just a knocking shop for horny ferangs. Or is it given the recent threads I have had the pleasure of reading?

Well there's Spicy, Crystal Cave, The Wall, Bubbles, Hotshots, Gigi (or whatever it is called at present) and probably another two dozen around the town.

BUT, been quite a long day since I have visited any of them

U what Johnny, uni girls are not known to visit Hotshots, Spicy, Bubbles, and the Wall in large numbers-all you get there is boom boom bang bang girls, 1000 baht please.

For uni girls try Discovery, Fashion house, Warm Up, Monkey Club, Simbar, Bar Nimman-places not frequented by large numbers of sleazy farang looking for uni girls...he he he.

I doubt if any University girls hang out at the Farang orientated places.

Also, I have a wife in Nong Khai and two children. We live separately (emotionally divorced by agreement but will not divorce at the amphur because of the children.

Disco's and night venue's are nothing for me - I am in CM to try to stay sober.

I would like more of a friend, nurse, sister type who I will tell my situation and pay a 'salary' (weekly or monthly). And I do NOT want any more Isan-culture, so it must be a tall, slim, white skinned chinese/lao/thai mix kind of girl. NOR do I want somebody who is/has been working or freelancing too much: I have f.kked myself from Shanghai to Rangoon for 5+ years, and am sick of it.

I have a nice new sedan sporty car, the cash, and will take her out of the students dormitory and live with her in a nice small appartment.

Do I have more options than the campus and Nimmanheim Road daytime/afternoons/early evenings?

As mentioned above, plenty of cuties that ARE NOT university students. The LAST thing a uni student wants to be seen with is an old farang. Young guys visiting their parents here in CNX are an exception but you'll seldom see them outside of a group. JMHO, chances are better in places like Khon Kaen to find students willing to be with a farang.

Most students are just normal young people that go to places where they meet other young people (their peers) nearer to their own age, discos, restaurants, clubs and have their own circle of friends.

As in any country, these young people are not interested in guys old enough to be their Dads or even grandfathers. Not all Thai girls are pros and available to anybody.

Many of the girls that claim to be students working as pros part time to pay for their tuition are telling porkies. This is just a scam to make them appear more appealing to customers, I mean, to make the guys believe they are getting a more educated younger up market girl and not the usual bar girl types.

So if you guys are seeking to fulfil your fantasies and bed some young hot desirable real schoolgirl sorts, just like you see portrayed in the porn magazines and on porn websites, you are going to be disappointed.

Oh brother I feel your pain! Go to the end of Nimmanheim road around 7:00 PM and take a right. You will see a lot of small stalls cooking food and selling hair ribbons. That's option #1. Then there are some restaurants across from the food stalls. That's option #2. Or Option #3. Dress up in a tuxedo and make a 2 foot by 2 foot sign and print in large English letters "I'm not gay". English is better than Thai. I tried it in Thai and guys wearing pink scarves kept coming by and kicking at me. Don't throw away the sign if it does not work. Just cross out "not" and try it again. I mean, any port in a storm right?

I completely agree with you. I lived in Chiang Mai a couple of years. The gay bars are nicer and gay people of all ages seem nicer as a rule.

When I was there the old Adams Apple was still going strong and a lot of the dancers lived in that new apartment next to Central. Nice guys. Even the comics although they made fun of me coming to Adams Apple with women were hilarious.

I went to the house of male to check it out and even though I am an old guy a young man bought me a beer and went swimming with me and gave me a tour of the place including the upstairs area. No one ever mentioned money.

Young guys old guys everyone seemed quite mellow.

If I was gay there would be no other place I would live. I would try and get used to the smog a few months a year because the ambiance is great.

I think the age thing is more a matter of young guys being jealous of old guys for fishing in the same pond whereas the gay guys are getting so much for free they have no time nor need to be jealous.

It seems beyond western women to accept that Thai women are not the same as western women but that is to be expected, I guess.

I am honestly a bit envious. I am, in person a rather shy, quiet, academic type. I liked Soho and that area. Although I speak decent Thai most of the gay guys I met spoke good English and that was nice.

When I taught I noticed the gay young men were better students in my class, less disruptive and better English speakers.
