OxfordWill
Hi all, I did a search but didn't find any similar thread..sorry if I missed one. I was wondering what you all do, or did, and perhaps how that brought you to LOS (or didn't). How do/did you make your money? How does it compare to how you thought you would make your money when you were 'younger'? Cheers.

ProfessorFart
I conduct private research when in Thailand. Its a bloody awful way to make a living but I've got to many corners of Thailand and SEA through my work. Now I'm working on my own enterprise which I hope will see me in LOS full time some time in the next year. If that fails I will have a stab at teaching. Backpack_thailand
Just to stick my 20 Baht's worth in! I'm a web developer and javascript writer, aiming mainly at tourism and travel (see my signature!) Into online bookings for hotels and a lot of marketing for selected dive schools on the east coast (Koh Tao, Chumphon). In partnership with my missus, been here for 6 years, about 75% fluent in da lingo and get to spend 24 hours a day with my new baby son! Got a healthy client base, will take a bit of a pounding due to the Tsunamis, particularly in Krabi, but then it's down to me and my colleagues to work a little harder now bringing in the Europeans. Not a time to lick the wounds, it's time to stand up for this place we call home and do our best to help bring it back to life! Not a bad life eh...?
