Soutpeel Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 I need to find out who belongs to a cell phone number that I have. If its Thailand....you will not be able to do a reverse number search...in fact, it may be illegal to do so by a private person, but sure the police or authorities could do it by requesting the the details from the service provider. The only place where I have seen this is in the US.... in the UK and Europe its illegal for a private person to do this... If you have the phone number why dont you just phone them and ask who they are...

I know people simply phone the service provider and get all the information they need even down to numbers dialled by their g/f - but they are Thai.
PoorSucker Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 A cell phone number in Thailand is probably prepaid and not registered anywhere.

TopDogger Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Unless you're still using the same number you were when Taksin made the registration of cellphone numbers with names mandatory.. That was merely a day dream, never been asked for ID when buying a SIM before or after he made that law...
chuang Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 [Maybe he is suspicious of the caller. A crazed lady seeking revenge!! A debt collecter more likely...
