well 10 years ago they said it was inopperable as the vertibrea was corroded to badly, but have just had an x-ray and the ortherpedic doctor said he could fix it, this was in Pattaya

The terms used here are a bit confusing..

"Corroded" generally refers to oxidation of ferrous materials not used in any human tissue context. Assume it is "osteoporotic" or degenarated vertebra. These can not be "replaced" at this point in time.

Perhaps some regrowth or regeneration can be achieved by stem cell implants or so but this technology is not available yet.

Not clear what the physician plans to do either.

Perhaps with more detail someone may respond.
