I need information again please..

1. Re-entry permit - I plan to go to Loas next month for my daughters visa. Do I have to get my re-entry permit on my district or has the rules changed that I can get in Nong khai.

2. Student visa - I have daughter, shes going to be 4 years old this april and going to study this school year. For her visa, (she has a tourist visa but now she is overstayed since february) I have options to get her a student visa or non-o visa? Any requirements for a student visa for children like her age or is it the same to all student visa requirements?

3. Non-o (dependent) visa - This is the visa that I wanted for her to have. But they said that I can get her as dependent to my visa but I should have atleast 6 MONTHS left with my visa. Now, I only have 4 months left. Is it true? More requirements? Or do you know where I could ask through phone about this visa thing? I tried to search online but the visa requirements has been posted since like 2006 or 2007. And I know that thailand always change. So, they might change their new requirements about this.

I want to have options just incase since I dont want to travel back and forth to Laos. Its far and its hard to travel alone with a child. So, if possible, i have all the documents ready..

Would appreciate so much for whatever information you can give.

Thank you so much!

1. Re-entry permit is in the province you obtained your extension of stay. You are on a one year extension of stay from Immigration?

2. The Consulate is the only one who can answer that as requirements may be a bit different as to what is needed from place to place. I don't believe there is any age specific requirement but there might be a "both parents" must sign requirement.

3. They said you should have 6 months remaining on your "extension of stay" or that "your passport must be valid six months"? They, as a Consulate, set the requirements for issue of a visa so that could be what they want. But you need to be sure there was not a misunderstanding.

I had my extension in Chiang mai but here in Uttaradit we belong to NAN province.. Yes, I am on my 1 year extension.

Both parents sign in? Oh no... I am a single mom now. But shes using her fathers family name since her father acknowledge her as his daughter but things are complicated between us already. And we dont communicate anymore.

I think 6 months remaining of the 1 year extension.. Thats what they said..

Thanks!
