Looks to be a little north of where the road makes the first major bend to the south up the hill- above the Thai Naval facility.

Very high winds right now so it doesn't look good.

Hope the moisture level in the large trees is high enough.

Crikey mcgriffith, that doesn't look good at all The far one looks particularly out of control. I go walking up the Doi a number of times a week, and the Fire Index was set at very high just yesterday

Hope it gets under control soon.

This was taken with my mobile- almost worthless as the distance is too great.

My Canon digital has a flat battery.

The 3 areas have gotten larger since I took this, and the winds are gusting (my guess) about 40 knots- very strong.

Taken 5 minutes ago! Winds really whipping up now. Let's how the rains follow!
