Been lurking on this site for a good while

Seems the appropriate thing to do is introduce oneself,

thing is cannot find (introduce yourself)

So seeing I,m a red till dead, here goes on the Man UTD site.

Been in Bangkok for 7 months straight, best part of 27 months altogether.

Married to a wonderful crackpot Thai ( Like attracts like! ), we have a 5 month daughter and she is the light of our life.

Enough said for now, first post for me so hello fellow forum members.

Cheers for now

:o:D Glad you stop Lurking and join the Fourm. What's the heck is a Crackpot Thai, heard the Thai wives call a lot of things but this one new to me. Best wishes with the new baby girl, hope she is happy and most of all HEALTHY. Five month old in addition to being the light of your life, I bet she light up your nights, with the call of mother nature at work(a need for a diaper change, etc)

Hi Ting or Tong not sure which one you are?.Perhaps you should have lurked abit longer. You may have found the right thread. The mistake is understandable has you are a Man U supporter. :o

Oh excellent another glory hunter who apparently supports Man Utd, now doubt you've never been to a game in your life and let me guess your all time Man Utd hero is Ronaldo?

Haha only joking mate, just giving you some kind of idea of what to expect from your fellow footy fans! welcome to the forum! :o

BT, I think it was Patklang doing the SAF slagging. For the record, Whiskey or Whisky is correct, depending where you come from. I am more of a Vodka man myself. :D

seems you'd had a wee dram when you posted that?

and 'whiskey' is perfectly acceptable by the way. just refers to the irish version rather than the scotch.

here's one for the newbie - welcome :o

Footballer puts wind up referee

A referee ordered a penalty to be retaken in a Sunday league football game when an opposition player broke wind as the ball was kicked.

The Chorlton Villa player got a yellow card for the noise which was classed as "unsporting behaviour".

The team, who conceded a goal on the second take, went on to win the match 6-4 against International Manchester FC at Turn Moss in Stretford, Manchester.

Villa manager Ian Treadwell said their conduct was "normally exemplary".

We are not a dirty team and we like to play football

Chorlton Villa manager Ian Treadwell

"One of our players 'broke wind' and only the referee heard it and he booked the player," he said.

"The other player had the penalty saved because it was a bad penalty; it was nothing to do with any noise. They were as shocked as we were as to why."

Mr Treadwell said he was waiting for the Football Association to contact them after it had received a report.

The Manchester Publicity league club faces total fines of £97 for three dismissals and two yellow card bookings from the game.

'Just hilarious'

Mr Treadwell said: "We are not a dirty team and we like to play football.

"While I won't condone the actions of the players, it is an emotive game and some of the players were sent off for entering into conversation with the referee.

"This has come at a bad time in the season as we don't have sponsor and we are looking for a new sponsor for next season."

Pauline Riley, secretary and treasurer of International Manchester FC, said both teams were "very friendly".

"There's no animosity. It was just hilarious," she said.
