Visa Exempt Entry Extention Help

Hi I'm from UK

I've been staying in bangkok since 28 days . I arrived by using visa exempt entry ( without travel visa) and i can stay 30 day. can i extend my visa and how long 7, 15 ,30 or longer? what if my visa will be extended and i overstay for example 1 or 2 day and then i will go for applying extension can i still pay the fee and extend my visa or they will tell me to go home ?

You can extend for 7 days before it expires at a cost of photo and 1,900 baht. They will not extend an extension. You can cross border/return to get a new 15 day stay. You can visit Vientiane or other consulate outside Thailand for a tourist visa (free until June 4) which will provide a 60 day stay that can be extended for 30 days.

but if i will apply for extension after 30 days? becouse maybe i will not be bale to, will they still extend my visa or i will have a problem and they politaley advice me to go back to home? waht problems i can expect ?

If you overstay you could end up in jail if stopped by the wrong official. They might allow you to pay a day or two if you have ticket out within 7 days but overstay is not a good idea. The normal procedure on an overstay is you pay fine and leave immediately.

Unless you have a ticket out of the country it is not very likely they will give you a 7 day extension. better leave and re-enter or even better get a tourist visa from Vientianne. They are free till June 4th. Might even get a double tourist visa.

Where exactly in Bangkok does one apply for 7 day extension on a visa exempt?
