villagefarang
Oops, Was he a little distracted? distracted.jpg Khun Jean, Yep i guess this one fell thru the cracks. Not the only mistake that was made. I have left them as is. I tend to spend most of my time looking out or swimming in the pool so these small matters dont really get to me. There are worse ways to spend a day or night for that matter than sitting on the patio looking out at this. Still some work to be done on the inside but have moved in & garden progressing. Lots of work but we are getting there. Lovely pool area you have there.

donx
My wife bought a townhouse in Krabi this summer. I'll send some pictures of it when I go there next summer unless you only want pictures of pre-built houses. It is, however, a newly built home. villagefarang
Villagefarang, great photo & set up. Is the pond stocked ? House looks really nice. Thank you. Yes, we have some fish in there but they are more like pets than anything else. Our dog loves to swim with them and I enjoy watching them swarm around the food I feed them. Here are a couple of the bigger ones but we must have a dozen different kinds of fish in there.

A nice house, with a nice view! That looks like it is on Riepjaifang road. Passed that a few times, but never stayed. I have renewed interest to have a look around again. If it is Riepjaifang road would you mind if i ask some questions? like: Is that water swim-able? How is the air as it has (oil) industry close by? Traffic? Shopping? Movie theater, restaurants, etc? jonnyscot
Thanks for pointing that out jay, although I was aware of it but didn't think it much of an issue, anyway apologies to anyone else who felt the pic was inappropriately placed,, The roof design was modified whilst I was away to work, so afraid the only venting will be from the front you see, there is an option to put a cooling system which home mart supply along the top point which hopefully should help a great deal with cooling the roof but that will be venting above the roof space, between the roof tiles and the roof foil as far as I'm aware Thanks Apologies again guys, I'll leave you to get back on topic quote name="55Jay" This ain't the construction forum but.... put a natural vent on the front and back of that high peak/attic space. Thanks for wetting our appetite with this sneak peek. I think if you reread 55jay’s post, you will see that he was not giving you a hard time and was apologizing for offering unsolicited advice. When we have learned things through experience, it is often difficult to resist passing on our words of wisdom. It is always well intended. Hope your house ends up being what you wanted and becomes a joy to live in.
jonnyscot
Thanks VF, I did understand jays post, if my response sounded a bit on the offensive or defensive it certainly wasn't meant that way, I was simply stating the facts of what I can and can't do now since the work on the roof is already completed except for that part in the pic where the venting at the front will go so no point in changing things right now with the roof structure,I have implemented many things into the build to keep the house reasonably cool that I've learnt over the last 3 or 4 years mainly from reading the valuable info from fellow contributors of TVF in the house building forum so I certainly wouldn't knock any advice Thanks again Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

InSiSongkram
We built this house in the last quarter of 2013 near the center of Udon Thani on the southern ring road. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms. The land area is 1,064 Sq.M or 266 Talang Wah and the area inside the house is 245.5 Sq.M with an open plan design throughtout the living/dining and kitchen areas. Since then we`ve had another addition to the family and need more bedrooms so I`ve put this house for sale in the classifieds here with more details. Here are some photos... villagefarang
I haven't contributed to this thread for quite some time and I don't typically shoot the house from this angle but we are in the process of extending the garage area and thought I would share. It seems like the house is a living being, continually growing and changing.

KNJ
Wow just spent a couple of hours going through this.................INSPIRATIONAL Village Farang, are those colours real or photshopped? You have a good eye. My wife is Japanese, so condos have always been the preference, but I would not mind a 30 year lease, and do something arbiet not so grand
