I am looking for a motorbike around 250 cc. Would like a road bike and not a sports bike. I have seen older Honda and Yamaha 250cc bikes but they don't seem to offer new ones at the dealers. The Honda Phantom's frame is bigger than what I want. Anyone know of any bikes or good used bike shops where I might find something?

There's the Kawasaki Ninja 250 to consider. As discussed in this thread here:

I just put an ad in the classifieds for my spotless Kawasaki 175cc Boss. Unfortunately they are saying up to 24 hours for it to show up. Frame is a little smaller than the Phantom, outperforms them. without the engine and tranny troubles. Only falang owned, saddlebags 35,000 Baht firm bulletproof runner call Jack at 084-804-7695 post-49171-1239878606_thumb.jpgpost-49171-1239878730_thumb.jpg

it was bound to happen... stand out by the street and listen as most go by. My buddy who I warned earlier just got one a month ago. trannie probems within a couple days .shops response? that famous thai smile. Check out the motorcycle forum and you will see how lucky you are.I am not making things up. These are not the Hondas we grew up with made in Japan with Japanese craftsmen. They do look sharp though and I really hope your luck continues. It's bound to happen to some...

I've got a Honda Magna 250 V-Twin for sale. 100,000 B.

Registered with Green book. Imported.

35,000 km.

New Bridgestone tires (10,000 B )

New seat cover.

Similar size to a Phantom, but looks & feels like a big bike.

Owned & maintained by a Falang mechanic (me).

Runs great (91 fuel), lots of torque, sounds nice.

Recently resprayed Black.
