Four of my family (all adults) have hired a car and will be driving from Bangkok to Koh Samui.

We would like to stop in a nice hotel mid way. We would also like to know is their any tourist destinations e.g. waterfalls, palaces etc. that anyone would recommend us to stop on the way?

We have no problem with directions, ferry etc.
