Understanding A Thai Wife

Featured Replies

Been with my wife now 7 years. She is the most loyal person I have ever met. We have been through thick and thin and she stuck by me, always.

Not to bore everyone with a 7 year story.

I went to the UK back in October, (as my son's health is not good and Thai doctors are of no help). I never lived there, but was born there and went many times as a tourist. I wanted the NHS to help my son and so we decided I go first, get situated and then bring them over.

Anyways, I went with a job already waiting.. Long story short, made redundant after 3 weeks, business closed and I was homeless for almost 3 months. Finally got help in January. Not the point of the story, just background.

I came back 2 weeks ago.

One of the things I got her was one of those ever present high visibility vests that practically everyone uses there, for either bike rides, working near a street or whatever.

She just refuses to wear it. I have heard her come to me countless of times, telling how this or that almost hit her, so I bought the dang thing for her.

She forgot it, left it at home, forgot to put it on, etc.

Yes, she would stick out like a sore thumb, but isn't that the point?

that story had a serious M. Night Shyamalan twist. fwiw, i was sticking out like a sore thumb and still got hit...
