Cheap Apartments In Hh

Featured Replies

Been wandering around HH for a couple of days but there seem to be a complete lack of the usual cheap apartment buildings where you can rent a one room apartment for 4-6000 baht a month on a six month lease. I have seen the odd condo studio for 10k but not near the town, not esp interested in beach side locations as I routinely walk 5km or so a day but would prefer something within reasonable distance of the bars for nighttime entertainment.

Any ideas?

Try Condo Chain. It's opposite the Market Village a bit down direction Pranburi on the left hand side. It's 8000 Baht a month for a decent 1 bedroom appartment with balcony. Another one would be Sports Villa. Same price and from Market Village dir. Pranburi on the right hand side.

This block of apartments is just off the Klong Road, almost opposite the 3 Girls restaurant. Only a few months old. Internet and a pool.

Just checked the link, looks like it's not working.

Here are their numbers ..... 086 390 3665 and 086 344 8398

The other option, and in my opinion better value, is go for a townhouse. Much more room for the same price as a studio. With persistence you will find them close to where the action is for under 15,000B a month, some even under 10,000. These are older places with basic furnishings mind you. You can get new places (with TV's, DVD, CD etc etc) for just a little more if you are prepared to go a few kms outside town.

The best is to hire a car or bike and just cruise the streets looking for signs, but if you want to try an agency to get a feel for the market, then try HuaHinThaiProperty Co. (google for their web site). For each rental property they had a very detailed fact sheet and pic/s. They had a selection of good cheaper places also, and didn't turn up their nose when we asked to be shown them.

Prices will drop if you cross the train tracks and lots available on small sois.

Look across the tracks up soi 88 and up Chomsin Road (soi 70 above Phetchkasem Rd).

Hi, are these apartments near the centre of Hua Hin or are they further out?

Cheers

What is further out?

It's easy to go from there to the center. You can use the Song Tiaew (baht bus). I would guess about 1-2 km to downtown.
