Tourist Visa Extension

Briefly, we have a guest staying at home and his visa will expire on May 5th (holiday!).

On Monday 4th, we have to pick up some other friends arriving, in the morning, at Suvarnabumi airport.

My question is:

Will he be able to get an extension at the airport immigration office; or should I drop him, on the way, at Suan Phlu?
