canuckamuck Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 So my Mother in law caught this frog while I was visiting this week. They were patient enough to let me photograph it before it got taken in to get ready for dinner. It was amazingly docile. The biggest surprise was that the next morning I saw her let it go in their little fish pond. I assumed we ate it the night before. Change of heart I guess. Any of you amateur naturalists know what this here lucky frog be?
canuckamuck Posted May 10, 2009 Author Posted May 10, 2009 I should have said snake, I would have had 20 replies by now
slapout Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Being no expert on this type of creature, I would guess toad but maybe someone else can educate us.
Moonrakers Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 I think it is a toad also, which is probably why the fella wasn't eaten.

Yeah I am sure that's what it was. I think we should have a critter ID forum, you could be the mod.
