Christian Guide On How To Evangelise Buddhists

Featured Replies

There are many Christian Buddhists and Jewish Buddhists and Animist Buddhists on and on. One needn't think of it as an either or experience. In fact, there are not very many Buddhists who don't have an additional spiritual path in their spiritual toolkit.

I am probably classed as a fundamentalist....but I think that if you have penetrated deeply into the Dhamma you will know you have the truth in your hand.... and so all other beliefs are false.

Note that i say the dhamma...rather than Buddhism....

ordinary men start all these religions around their founders by getting caught up in the pointing finger and ther person it belongs to...instead of where the finger is pointing...as the founder intended.

The Buddha re-discovered the lost Dhamma and taught it....... it will become lost again..... but its laws will still be in operation....just nobody will know how it works....and its laws work equally for all...those of all religions and no religions.

There is only the knowledge that we are all trapped in Samsara when it is pointed out to us by a Buddha....and there is only an escape when we follow his teaching of the true Dhamma.... the Four Noble Truths and Eightfold Path.

You are very clear in your beliefs. But the fact remains that most Buddhists are not singular in their pursuit of spiritual sustenance.
