The original visa will not be transfered. So if you still have a valid mulitple entry visa you will need to travel with both old and new passports. Immigration will transfer details of your visa and your current permission to stay. Your embassy should give you a letter asking for this. The process is easy and free. You will have no problems at Jomtien.
ubonjoe Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 As said they will not tranfer visas. But if you have an extension of stay based upon retirement they will transfer everything to do with it. Plus a valid re-entry permit if you have one.
