Dinosaur Excavation Site In Kalasin Voted ‘Thailand’s Top Destination'

Sirindhorn Museum and Phu Kum Khao Dinosaur Excavation Site in the northeastern province of Kalasin was ranked the most popular tourist destination of Thailand, according to the Post Publishing’s survey.

The Post Publishing Public Company Limited conducted a survey on ‘Thailand’s Top Destination Vote’. People were invited to vote in order to select 9 of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand.

According to the result of the survey, Sirindhorn Museum and Phu Kum Khao Dinosaur Excavation Site in Kalasin was selected to be the most popular destination, receiving 43,957 points of popularity.

Second place went to Si Satchanalai Historical Park in Sukhothai at 40,435 points while Phu Soi Dao National Park in Uttaradit came in third place, receiving 18,835 points of popular vote.

Other attractions that were voted include the Amphawa community in Samut Sakhon, 100-year-old Klong Suan market in Samut Prakan, Phumin temple in Nan, Wat Phra That Lampang Luang in Lampang, Sukhothai Historical Park in Sukhothai, and Pai in Mae Hong Son, respectively.
