I live in central Bangkok along Sukhumvit Road and am hoping to find some people (preferrable expats) that are interested in adopting a puppy. At the guard booth entrance to our house are two female puppies about 3 months old. They both have short brown hair and are obviously part labrador. Each time I drive into our street I notice these two puppies hanging out at or in the security booth and the owners (across the street) claim no responsibility for them as they were accidental pups from their current dog. Although I already have a house dog, I have been taking these two puppies home every other night to bathe and feed them and give them a healthy dose of puppy vitamins and medication to prevent ear infections.

These two puppies are un-named and each night that I bathe them and let them sleep on my couch I notice that they are at a perfect age for adoption and training. I would keep them if I could, but I already have a dog and adding these two would be way too much considering that they will grow up to be the size of an adult labrador one day. As far as I know, they have never seen a doctor or received any vaccinations, etc. I am thinking about leaving them at the animal hospital for a few days so that they can have a 100% clean bill of health, but they still need to have a real home to go to instead of having to put them back on the street.

If anyone is interested in adopting a baby labrador (or two since they are sisters) then please contact me by by PM, and i will send u my email. Below are a few pictures of the two puppies.

Apparently I am not allowed to post my email address directly in the postings, sorry ThaiVisa :) Just to let viewers of this posting know, I posted this topic under my temporary username <commercial name deleted> but my official screen name is <commercial name deleted>. I only posted under the second name because I was having temporary problems logging into my main account and needed to post this topic right away.

Anyways, sorry for the inconvenience. As for the puppy update, I have just began their treatment at the Thonglor Pet Hospital here in Bangkok and they are soon on their way to a complete recovery. Admittedly they have a few varieties of worms and parasites, but they should pull through it just fine in the next couple weeks and then start their vaccinations. I have officially taken them in now and they are living indoors with me. So I will not be returning them to the street. Instead, I will be taking personal care of them until they get a clean bill of health and I am able to select which home they will go to in the long run.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to those who have emailed me and expressed an interest in, Lauren & Grace (their temporary names). While it is a sign of sincere willingness to help these little pups, I must honestly admit that I am more inclined to release these two puppies to someone who can reasonable take them both because they have been dependant on eachother, hence it seems wrong to seperate the two for all they have been through together without a real family or mother.

For any further inquiries, I can be reached by sending a message to either of those screen names. I will subsequently give out my number and email address.

Thanks,

Logan

I would like to express my sincere thanks to ThaiVisa for allowing me to post the topic regarding these two puppies and also to the ThaiVisa users who took a moment to view the topic.

There was a quick response from a very kind gentleman immediately after the posting and he will be giving both of them a new home at his house in Korat starting early next month. The puppies have finished their full spectrum tests and they are on their way to a full recovery in the coming weeks before their new father comes to pick them up. The children that used to play with them on the street are very pleased that the puppies are going to have a full life and be taken care of by an official adoptive family.

For those who have caught this posting just a little too late, I have been keeping an eye on another snow-white colored puppy near my house and I am hoping to have time to bring this puppy back to health and find it a loving home as well. Once these two current puppies are in the hands of their new family, I will then likely be looking for this other puppy. So if you are interested in learning more about that, just let me know and I will see what I can do about getting some pictures for you. Otherwise you can keep your eyes peeled for another posting from me for puppy adoption.

Once again, thank you to ThaiVisa for enabling this opportunity to take place and, most of all, thank you to the great ThaiVisa user who will be welcoming these two little pups into his home next month.

Nice conclusion to the story.

In that light, given the pups have found a home, new pups can get a new thread :)
