Ramkhamphang Hospital

Featured Replies

Has anyone used this hospital and if so what is your opinion of the service etc?

1. There are many Ramkamhaeng Hospitals (different parts of the country), which are you referring to?

2. It will in any case depend on the doctor. Choose the doctor, not the hospital.

1. I should have noted its location. The hospital is on Rankamhaeng road, Bangkok.

We have lived in Lat Phao (not that far away) for 35 years but have never met anyone who has used that Hospital. It seems to be the same chain as RAM in Chiang Mai - which we did use one time; and was not impressed.

I assume you are talking about Ramkhamhaeng hospital on Ramkhamhaeng rd (between soi 32 and 34) in the Hua Mark district.

Yes I used this hospital just over 2 years ago, very professional, polite and efficient service and would have no hesitation in either using it again or recommending it to anyone else.

I also know many Thais who have used this hospital, in fact it was Thais who mentioned it to me.

It really depends on what your medical problem is, and how happy and confident you feel after talking to the doctors and or surgeons who will operate on you, this was my main concern, not price, I could easily have paid more elsewhere, however after talking to the surgeon concerned I felt confidence in his ability, and have had no problems since.

Another consideration is who is paying, many farang will be on some sort of expat package that will pay for medical treatment at other hospitals, with a price to match, usually inflated.

Please feel free to contact me by pm if you have any further questions.
