I am looking at getting a New Canon 500D but want to make sure all my images are Geo-Tagged to make life easy. Does anyone know where to buy a GPS system for the D500 or a standalone one that can sync to the camera via a computer maybe. I live in Pattaya but happy to travel to Bangkok to get one if I just know where to go. Have tried Pantip but did not find anything. Thanks Stephen

I must admit that I use the geotagging feature in Flickr...but am not happy with the map they use as it's geo data is very poorly named. I'd also like to have a GPS to locate my exact location....but the map in Flickr doesn't have coords....so i'd have to try and check it in google earth first and use the satellite image.

I just bought mine off the net (at Semsons) and had it Fedexed to my home in Thailand. Great for Geotagging photos or keeping track logs. Keychain sizes and very cheap. Also mine doubles as a blue tooth antenna for my mobile phone PDA.

I use a full size GPS that doubles over from biking but would like something keychain type. I see that battery life is a common issue.

The one I read the highest positive reviews over is the Trackstick (the version 2 one) possibly Trackstick Pro ?? It has a motion sensor so will save batter life to an acceptable level.

EDIT :: its the super trackstick that has the motion sensing battery saver.
