Cheap Flights

Featured Replies

Samgrowth, or anyone, do you know what the deal is with airasia regarding baggage allowance?

These flights just seem too cheap. I can get to BKK from London with Air Asia for less than £200, yet with British Airways it would be costing me more than £700.

There must be SOMETHING I'm missing here. So far I gather that you have to pay for food and drink, but that is hardly going to make up for a £500 difference.

What's the catch?

Food is optional and on top.

Baggages is optional & on top, you have 3 choices of check baggages + 7 kg free hand carry.

Seat selation is optional and on top.

Insurance is optional and on top.

If you are flexible, use www.AirAsiaPlus.com to hunt for the cheapest dates.

To get the real full amount that you need to pay with everything that you need, just go to the web site and make a fake booking, and back off once you reach the credit card payment page. As you add each item, it will tell you by how much.

WARNING. This is a low cost airline. You get what you paid for. Don't come complaining that you don't get the same service as BA, TG, etc. Also, forget about changing once paid; it is often not worthwhile.
