Tourist Visa (two Entry) Question

We came to Thailand on a multiple-entry tourist visa (60days each entry w/ option to extend). Do we need to leave and fly back into Thailand or can we just re-enter by land to get our SECOND ENTRY (and not a 15-day stamp)? Thanks so much!!

You can do either way - as long as you enter the tourist visa information in the arrival card you should get the normal 60 day stay.

You can do it by land and you will get your 60 day entry. It is 15 days if you don't have a visa.

Be sure you do your entry before your enter before date on your visa.

There is no such thing as a Multi Entry Tourist Visa. It will be a single or 2 or 3 entry.

As said enter by land or air to get a 60 day permission to stay.

uhhhm, 2 or 3 is multi, or do I have the definition of more than 1 wrong???

You get a single entry , two entry or three entry usually.

A Multi entry implies unlimited entries and applies to Non Imm Visas, Not Tourist Visas.

Multi, as used for visas, refers to a type that is issued for unlimited entry and valid for one year from issue rather than the normal 3 to 6 month validity of those issued for a specific number of entries.
