My friend Jeff here in Chiang Mai is a TV member and occasional poster on this sub-forum. He runs Fair Earth Farm, an agroforestry and organic farming research and educational project.

He is starting trials to compare three different systems of chemical-free rice production. I thought some of you may be interested:

The information is very helpful. I am trying to start a small scale organic rice farming in Chonburi and will be trying to follow Jeff's methods. It will also help if I can get info regarding the following: equipment needed, number of manpower, capital to invest per rai of land, needs irrigation or wait for rainy season(single or 2 croppings per year) - what is suited for Chonburi, etc... Will post more questions as my project progresses. Thanks.
