I mentioned chitosan and its possible anti-fungal benefits in the damping off thread. Loads of companies on the web selling it as an organic fungicide, available in Thailand under the "red crab" brandname. Here's an interesting article on another claimed effect.

I've never heard of this or seen it before. Is it available in garden centres in Thailand do you know?

yes there is a "red crab" franchise in our nearest town and litre bottles of the liquid version (which I use) can be found in some mom & pop stores.This is the 25 KG granular version.
