Unless you want to do border runs every 2 weeks then yes - plus the fact they may not let you fly on a 3 month ticket with no visa.

You could get a touridt visa for free, single or double (90 or 180 days), but after you have paid for extensions and a border run it would probably cost the same to get a multi entry non-o from Hull, and alot less hassle.

Don't know about the kiddie I'm afraid, don't have any (yet).

i dont mind a border run myself for a to cambodia border as it will get me away from the wife for a few days while she stays in koh chang with her sister and baby i,ll maybe head to sihanoukville for a week myself around start of january so when i come back into los i will get a 15 day stamp ,is nt that right,,i think so...

but need to know about my babies visa/passport

Your child can enter on a visa or visa exempt stamp (but clear travel with airline - her birth certificate should prove her Thai nationality) or just get a free tourist visa for her and yourself (if two entry that would take care of your 94 days with only one travel to border required). Child should get a Thai passport but will need to use her UK passport for departure as she arrived with it. It she does not get a second tourist visa she will be marked overstay but there is no fine and perfectly normal for children to overstay.

Could you not try to get your daughters Thai passport from the Thai embassy in the UK before your trip, then you have no worries about her at all. For you i'd recommend getting a Non-Immigrant O multiple entry, then doing a border run when your entry permit expires to get another 90-days. At least it can be used again for another trip before it's 1-year expiration date comes if you have a need for one.

Just get a tourist visa for your child and then she can overstay. Children under the age of I believe 12yr old can overstay with no fee to be paid for the over stay.

also if i dont get a visa and use my 30 days can i not go to immagration in pattaya soi 9 i think and get a further 30 day visa for 1,900 baht,,or am i listening to too many rumors,,,i just dont want to pay a 100 quid for a yrs visa if i dont have to,,,the flights have cost me enough and let me tell u thailand isnt cheap no more,,i really am on a budget here....thanks

The airline may not let you on the flight without a visa or ticket out within 30 days. You can not stay longer than another 7 days on a 30 day visa exempt entry.

As I said child is not expected to make visa runs and can overstay without fine.

Obtain free tourist visa for her and you - it should only cost mail fee (although Hull now charges a service fee so not sure if other Consulates in UK will follow). It will be a lot less than the non immigrant visa.

You may be better getting a double entry Tourist Visa as you will be staying for 94 days.

A Tourist Visa plus extension will only give 90 days. Or you can do a border run or get a 7 day extension from Immigration to make up the 4 days. Whatever suits you.

OK I AM GOING TO GET A DOUBLE ENTRY TOURIST FOR MYSELF,,,BUT WHAT TYPE WILL I GET FOR MY 6 MTH OLD BABY? IF SHES FLYING OUT FOR 94 DAYS WILL IMMAGRATION NOT ALLOW HER TO GO INSIDE THAILAND IF SHE HAS ONLY A TOURIST VISA FOR 30 DAYS? THIS IS ALL VERY CONFUSING,,,ALSO I JUST GOT A MAIL FROM HULL TODAY SAYING I HAD TO APPLY TO THAI EMBASSY LONDON,,BUT BEFORE I GOT MY NON (O) VISA FROM HULL....

Try to get her a Thai passport befre you travel, otherwise just get her a single tourist visa and you will be alright. Single entry tourist visas are free at the moment anyway.
