one post that is defamatory towards thaivisa has been removed until admin have a chance to respond the points raised in it.

There seems to have been a fair bit of misunderstanding over what has gone on so far, some points for clarification.

There were several venues approached regarding having a Thaivisa Sponsored event at their location, they were also asked if they wanted a barter deal for advertising in exchange for providing food beverages at the event, this was not a compulsory requirement but merely an offering to the venue if they wished to get a lot of good promotion and not have to worry about us having outside sponsors come along.

Thaivisa members are more than welcome to organise their own non sponsored gatherings at any time and use the forum to let the local members know where they will meet, similar to the way the Friday night group in Pattaya do, which in Pattaya led to the selection of a venue for a sponsored event that all members were happy with and received good attendances.

So based on what we have found and what venues are available, it was put back to the members to see could get enough interested in an unofficial event as has been done in all the previous locations, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Surin, Phuket.

But the turn out to the first one seems rather low at only 3 attending.
