July 31, 200916 yr I came across a tefl course provider that states it's accredited by an organisation called IATELAA. I googled but all I could find was a one static page with an invitation to send an email to find out whether a particular course is accredited by them. They claim "Its purpose is to accredit TEFL Certificate programs." and "The International TEFL Accrediting Authority is a registered entity with members selected from leading academic instutions from around the world" but no qualifying information. When I googled I found a link to a static page and this course provider only. What do you think?
July 31, 200916 yr I googled a little further. Try this: www.tefl.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1891" In a nutshell, it says that there is *NO* international accrediting authority. Each school accredits itself. The rest of it you can check out, but seems to me that if there's no recognized body, why state that a body accredits the school? I don't suppose it's a Thai TESL course?
July 31, 200916 yr Author I don't suppose it's a Thai TESL course? It is. Google 'paradise' and 'tefl'
August 1, 200916 yr I've never seen so many unfamiliar fine fotos of bearded instructors in shorts with adult Asian TEFL students.
