I understand your (and most people's) opinion on this, but what I have said is I NEVER SEE any mention of trans men in all these governmental actions that involve trans women. That's all I'm saying... And, as I'm sure you probably know, we (the USA) used to have that same binary classification of White and non-White. Even just 50 years ago, non-Whites were not allowed to play sports with Whites. But, because as time went by there were more and more mixed-race people, we eventually declared that if someone was only 1/4 or 1/8 or even 1/16 Black, they could be considered White. (The percentage varied from state to state.) Now, of course, all races are (supposedly) treated equally. I hope that will be the same with how we think of gender in the future. -

Sorry but how can anyone comment on where the preventative measures went wrong, when the cause of the fire is not yet known and under investigation. The fire safety measures under regulations are designed to protect life and there were no death or injuries. This type of premises is open fronted, so adequate means of escape. No country would require this size premises to have sprinklers for life safety and no insurance company would require it for property protection. Images of the fire clearly shows initial attempts to use fire extinguishers, so suitable first aid firefighting equipment was in place. Yes fire prevention, why the fire started, can be reviewed once the cause has been identified. The real issue here is why the fire spread beyond the building of origin. This will be depend on what local building acts, say about separation between buildings and if in fact these premises were deemed suitable for industrial/commerical use in a residential area. -

Well it isn't. The more the police win the war on drugs, the more potent the drugs have to be made. Because they are easier to smuggle in smaller quantities. That is why there is such a big problem in North America. They started winning the war on heroin. So the drug business opted for fentanyl. In Europe, the more bulky and safe Afghan heroin can still get in over land. So way less people in Europe die from fent overdoses. -

You have to be a very blinkered leftist not to appreciate the delicious irony of seeing leftists trying to defend universities on the grounds of free speech, when it was these very universities, 350 of them, who adopted "speech codes" to severely restrict free speech at their universities. The irony is just too delicious. You do realise you are invoking the "free speech" defense for institutions who have themselves restricted free speech in the most glaring, and heinous, ways? You probably didn't, but how do you reconcile the 350 universities in the US adopting "speech codes" to restrict free speech, with your free speech defense? Just curious.
