I was told last week about some modifications to immigration offices TOMORROW, August 17th.

My sources are an immigration officer and a captain from a local immigration office.

I was told a new immigration center will open in Khon Kaen.

Another one in Nakhon Sakhon too.

There were talking about moving Kap Choeng to Korat but that was NOT CONFIRMED according to them.

I heard something about Udon Thani but can't remember.

Can anyone confirm? That's starting tomorrow...

Unless it is a stealth operation expect it will be after tomorrow sometime - perhaps the approval is tomorrow? There has been talk for several months of this happening but that no final decision has been made. Bangkok is also awaiting a move of offices so it could be they start to move tomorrow?

People who gave me that info also are the ones who gave me the last modifications in February about immigration offices. The 17th of August seemed to be "official" for KK and Nakhon Sakhorn. Not sure for Udon and there was no confirmation for Korat last week. They told me it was starting on 17th...

I wish KK will get it because Nong Khai.... :) Welcome to Thailand!

We called this morning in Korat...

They told us today that it was postpone, no date was decided officially, even if last week they told us 17!!!

It's not a rumor, but TIT.
