Hi just quick question for ya (no joy from search button).

The misses hold a uk PR visa,

does she need the schengen visa to visit mainland europe?

if so how long will it take to get one?

We are working flat out me 84hours and her 60hours per week, we have a weeks holiday in 2 weeks time and i was looking to give her a supprise and get away for few days maybe to Spain, Holland or France.

Can i get a visa in time????????

Hi Donmac, my wife holds the same visa also and I'm 100% sure that your wife will need a Schengen visa to travel to Europe, the good news is that I'm sure they are free.

I was thinking it might be diffrent with a PR visa but it was more hope than anything else. It good news that the visa is free.

I will probably take too long for an aplication to be made for two weeks time i will just wait for Oct when she can aply for citizenship. Got a holiday in Jan so we might put back applying till afterwards because the time it took to get the PR was nearly two months. They where quick to thake the cash out her account .
