August 31, 200916 yr Stop at the Dog & Cat Rescue Centre on the south west side of the island, near Taling Ngam, watch for the sign on the left, coming from Nanthon... next time you take a drive around the island. The centre is very clean & well run, mostly by volunteers (Thai's & Farangs) & one paid vet from what I understand. There is another centre in Chawang, (112/35 Moo 6) which I have not seen... They provide neutering /spading services for both cats & dogs for a donation. Also provide vacinations, for a minimal cost.... According to their brochure, they feed several hundred dogs and cats a day.... that's a lot of food they need! I just want to give Kudo's to the service they provide to help the neglected animals. The dogs & cats will be so greatful!
