Thai Airways Ranked In Top Three Airline

Featured Replies

Just another April 1 joke that is either early for next year or late for this one.

No complaints about the service from New Zealand , decent planes, excellent service, friendly cabin staff, so in my opinion they deserve to be ranked number 3

Can we assume that you are filing this post from "In Flight" and have not landed yet.

If and when you are safe and sound on the ground, and free to talk/write, give us another post

Gonzo

So I take you are a regular from Auc to BKK and know the service well?

Agree with DWitch that the TG service to New Zealand is excellent. It has been since they started direct flights to Auckland some 4 or 5 years ago. They started with brand new planes and have kept them here. Perhaps new planes with all the modcoms make for a better environment for all including the staff.

Prior to the direct flights to NZ the service via Sidnee was artrocious. But that was not Thai but the Aussie Hitlers in charge of entry to the Sidnee Transit area. Will never ever fly via Sidnee anywhere in the world again.

To any frequent flyer the results of some categories in this poll are just laughable:

TG's business class product outranks Qatar, Malaysia, Virgin? Try telling that to the large number of disgruntled punters who have paid for a lie-flat seat on a long haul flight, only to meet one of Thai's notorious last minute equipment swaps, and then have to sit bolt upright all night.

Suvarnabhumi outranks KLIA?? Schiphol??? There is no credibility here.

On the subject of last minute equipment swaps, what's the present situation on the important Bangkok-London route? Are they now using new aircraft or guaranteeing upgraded cabins in each class or do they still use the old 747s which haven’t been refurbished?
