Drug gang broken with three arrests

Three people suspected of being part of a drug dealing network in Songkhla's Hat Yai district were arrested in a series of raids yesterday.

The raid, conducted by narcotics agents from Department of Special Investigation jointly with local police, followed recent arrests of influential drug dealers Surawut Chinwutthiwong and Wichien Traijuthakarn, who invested drug money in many real estate projects and had been each jailed for 15 years.

The raids were conducted simultaneously at 10 locations at homes and properties belonging to both men, before police arrested Sonthisak Traijuthakarn, Kullaphorn Lertchalothorn and Wanida Pitisetkosol, who have been charged with laundering money
