Are there any tour operators running a bus service to the buffalo racing next week?

Can anyone confirm that the buffalo racing day is Saturday the 3rd of October at the Mabrachan Lake ?

I went last year on the sunday.... no buffalos racing just long boats !!!

was told that the buffalos raced the day before

" today no have" I kicked myself.

Why don't they advertise these events properly ( no need to answer that )

According to 'Pattaya Today' it will be held on 2/3rd October. I don't know where though.

Not if it is at Maprachan Lake, the two events are held at separate times of the year, the one at Maprachan is at the lakeside about 500m before you turn left around the lake (straight on to Siam Country Club), you will see it, always held on the same weekend as the Longboat racing.

or are the 2 venues one and the same.

Acording to TAT there is a festival from 28 september till 4th October

the actual buffalo racing is on the 3rd of October for one day only from about 10 am- 2pm

the venue is Chonburi City Hall.

There will also be buffalo races and long boats at lake Mabprachan in November.

I read somewhere that the long boat racing at maprachan is November 21/23. If there is buffalo racing it will be then.
