Other than the random game here and there, does anyone know late night spots that would have satellite cable and access to any and all NFL games? Personally, I'm looking for Chicago Bears games, but any other fans with knowledge, please feel free to post. Thanks!

How late are they on, and what area are you?

The games usually air either at midnight or 3am. I'm willing to travel anywhere in Bangkok to watch Chicago Bears games in a bar environment.

I'm a Bears fan, too. Lifelong fan. Great win today against Detroit. I suggest that it will be extremely hard to find a place that will be showing Bears games all the time. You may be able to find some NFL but the coverage seems to change all the time. Your options are paying to watch games on the internet, which gives the best quality and I've heard costs about $200 or more a month (also you need a fantastic internet connection and best speed possible in Bangkok), or getting incredibly lucky and finding a place that shows NFL all the time. With the internet option (check nfl.com and I've heard of something Yahoo sports does) you can probably watch every Bears game. However, I think you'll be out of luck if you want to find some bar that will be showing da Bears every week. I don't know how they'd even get access to show all the games of one team unless they used something like Sopcast to broadcast games via an internet connection from someone's NFL Sunday Ticket package on DirecTV in the U.S.

This of course is not in a bar setting, but it's the best available to watch the any game from the entire season live or at any time you like IF you're internet connection can handle it. I've only tried the demo, so I'm not sure how well it deals with bandwidth, such as the quality varying, the video pausing for buffering, or both.

There is also a private tracker out there with NFL, CFL, and NCAA games, but you usually have to wait a day or 2 before most of them are available and the quality varies from bad VHS to HD.

UBC Satellite TV chanel 40 ASN they have about 6 live games a week I just watched Monday night football this morning live started at 0730am Min/GB

so this year the channel 40 mentioned above has been a gift from above - it is the first time in over 7 years i have been able to see any football on a regular basis

i hear some bars in pattaya have games playing but i have never been to a game, here in bkk i have never heard of a place - other than for the superbowl

i have tried for years to get bandwidth to be able to watch streaming games (cfl and nfl) but no luck, as mentioned above you need to pay for huge bandwidth just to get the 300kbps or so you need to watch streaming games.

maybe all us football fans should buy a hole in the wall bar for 100$, chip in for a massive internet connection and watch away!! (ooops is this allowed? apologies if it needs to be edited)

As others have said, no steady/dependable source for watching games live starting at 3:00 am.

Your best best are US-managed bars - The Tavern on Sukhumvit Soi 4 (opposite Rajah Hotel parking lot) and the Sports Corner Bar, 25 meters into Sukhumvit Soi 20.

I think you are out of luck re: local broadcast/cable/satellite options: KC v IND; Tenn v. Dal; Eagles v. 49ers and Vikings v. Jets are the four games this week. (Sun 2x, SNF, MNF).

There may be internet options available.

The linked ASN schedule shows different games than the TRUE schedule. I assume the ASN schedule is more accurate, but YMMV. The ASN schedule does show a tape-delay broadcast for the Giants v. Texans game at 4:30 PM (Thailand) on Monday. So if you don't mind watching it delayed then you should be able to watch at one of the bars which advertise NFL games. The Tavern on Suk Soi 4 shows a lot of NFL games and they might show it for you.

How can this be, i have a Gold UBC Package which id' assume has more Channels than the Silver, yet don't have ASN & have to subscribe to it if i want it ??

Not live, but Rob at LOS CABOS on Sukhumvit Soi 14 is showing re-plays of NFL games on Monday mornings with a special breakfast menu.

Stop in (free buffet Friday 4 to 7pm)for a schedule.
