Those of you who read the Expat Page in Monday's Nation may have noticed that many the same briefs appeared in this week's Farang Affairs' Bangkok News Review. (It’s a little different, eg lead story is new, plus there are a few more pics and some different captions.)

My apologises.

But it the newsletter was really starting to eat away at my time and as I receive no financial reward from doing the newsletter, I feel it's better to concentrate on the stuff that makes me a living, like the Expat Page.

But rather than drop the newsletter althogether, I've tried this way. I'll tried to include more original stuff when I have the time.

Also, well over half the subscribers are from outside Thailand and many more from upcountry. Their only access to the Expat Page is on The Nation's website every monday (when it appears).

The Expat Page on the Nation website carries no pics, so they miss out on a lot of the material. The newsletter makes up for that.

Can I go now?

You may go just so long as you understand that your material is terrific and always makes me laugh. Keep it up with the excellent humor.

Your efforts are appreciated and often needed..... :o

I was wondering if you were possibly going to do an article on the prime minister promise "to invest 1.5 trillion baht to overhaul Thailand in the race for world supremacy..."

Okay, it's worth a chuckle or two, or even outright laughter. But as has been mentioned here before, why can't the damned thing go through some proof-reading? It would only take a few minutes.
