Can I Take Motorbike To Koh Phangan

Featured Replies

Can I take my motorbike across to Koh Phangan for a few days, I asked at the pier place next to catcando but they say no. I live near choeng mon so the closer the better. Also if someone know of a service that can take motorbike, schedule? cost? (or a link to website?)

Thanks in advance

For sure not if your bike is for rent. Before Haad Rin Queen boat from Bang Rak to Haad Rin did this service for 300 baht, but seems they stop. But you can try to ask to the ticket office, maybe they say yest if in a good mood.

1. no bike (for rent) leave this island.

2. why don't take the Seatran-Ferry? (if its your own bike)

No more Seatran Ferry Samui-Phangan

i don't say Samui - Phangan....... :)

but there is a Ferry from Donsak - Phangan... :D

so what is the solution for people like the OP in this case:

take your lovely bike from Samui to Donsak and from Donsak to KPN......so easy.

If this way is to difficult or to expensive......take the regular boat to KPN and rent a bike there :D

I dont rent, I own a honda click. not too sure what the fino reference is? curious though...

I guess I'll just rent and go from the place next to katcando then (Im lazy beyond cost/risk), I've just heard horror stories about renting a motorbike from these "leave your passport" places.

Was just seeing if any of the speedboats that advertise along bangrak can do it, saves hassle but i guess not

Ah I think I figured the fino reference (http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Stolen-Motorbike-fino-Maenam-t305890.html)...
