October 22, 200916 yr England women's coach Hope Powell has emerged as a surprise contender to replace Mike Newell as manager at League Two outfit Grimsby Town. http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...5642571,00.html Could be interesting if she is appointed, especially if it works for her. I find it somehow fitting that if it happens, it will happen in the country that gave birth to football.
October 22, 200916 yr Grimsby has just had one of the better managers for the level that they play in Div2 , it will just be a headline grabbing ploy . I think that all the Top level clubs should have to contribute at least 5% of there takings to the lower leagues,Its not just Grimsby that is struggling most lower teams are,It does not mater who the boss is if the players will not play for them.
October 23, 200916 yr it will happen in the country that gave birth to football. Scotland? Yes exactly Should be given Money because they are in the Lower Leagues.
