Dentist In Bkk For A Simple Check-up

Featured Replies

I have read some topics about dentists in BKK but I just don't know which one to choose. It will be my first dental visit abroad, so I am a bit nervous..

I am staying near Khao San. Which one is easy to reach?

I went to BNH, on Silom and was really happy with the results, the dentist and the price. Its pricey but not insane.

I chose Bangkok International Dental Center because of its convenience location.

I made an appointment by telephone for the next day.

It was clean & efficient. After a check up, the dentist told me I needed 2 minor fillings. I asked her if the dentist had time to do it right away.

The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit rushed (fast explanation and treatment) And when changing instruments they touched my teeth. Maybe it was because I was a bit late, maybe she had a schedule problem. But it was my first dental visit in Thailand, so I was a bit nervous. The fast treatment and explanation didn't make me feel very comfortable.

But I think she was good, future will tell. And I wouldn't doubt to visit again. But I would request someone who is calming.

Costs:

Check up- free

1 composite filling - 800 baht

I received a copy of the treatment description on request.

I think the price was a bit high for Thailand, but I like my teeth too much to take risks.
