i keep hearing in the bars that all the hotels are rammed out full for christmas yet i checked BKK airways flights leading upto Christmas and there are flights available everyday some days out of the 24 flights down only 4 or 5 are full. the busiest days are where the flights are reduced to 17 even then still availability. Maybe arriving by boat or something. could be people have booked hotel rooms and fligts from europe and not booked bkk to samui flight yet.

i'll give you the easy answer for this there is still more than a month away till high season / christmas or new years why don't you check bangkok airways come december 12 and see what turns up.

check out flight to phuket then connect with jetstar flight to singapore. price about same and stop over not to long. done it myself although was a while ago
