I am urgently looking for a road bike sized between 52cm and 56cm. It has to road worthy and available to collect now. I would also look at renting it from you for a 2 month period so I can complete an event in December and the training leading upto it.

IF YOU CAN HELP ME IN ANYWAY WE WOULD MORE THAN APPRECIATE IT !!

Please personal message me with details, I can travel anywhere in Thailand to pick up (and deliver back if rented), for rented bikes I can supply full documentation and supply a deposit if required. We are slightly worried about sending our bikes over from Sweden and England.

We are desperate so any offers would be warmly received and looked at!!

My name is Lee and my email address is //e-mail removed as per forum rules//

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,

I'm afraid to say that, but the chances to find here what you want might be rather slim. The number of road bikers with a spare bike in your required frames size on this forum may be very small if not zero.

You may try your luck with the owner of this website: http://www.bamboo-lake-village.com/

This is a German road biker who runs a small resort near Chiang Mai and according to the website has 5 road bikes for rent.

Second tip would be the Thai forum: http://www.thaimtb.com/forum/

This is THE forum for everything about biking (on and off the road) in Thailand, and all Thais who are into biking are communicating over there, not so much here. But the forum is in Thai language.

Third tip: Look at the classifieds section in this forum. There is a road bike size 56 for sale for just 15K THB.

Cheers,

George

I have tired to reply sooner...but had some problems using this site. I'm new and stupid.

Yep thanks alot...got fixed up but wasn't easy.

I live in Prachuap Khiri Khan, but travelled to Bangkok twice, Hua Hin, and finally found the second bike in Chumphon where they surprisingly have 6/7 cycle shops. I travelled down to Phuket also recently for some training and they have atleast 3 shops that are good for road bikes and accesories.

Still looking for one pair of cycle shoes, size 44.....any ideas??

I'm looking for atleast 6 - 10 more road bikes now anywhere in Thailand.

From size 50cm to 58cm.

Ideally less than 10 years old and in working condition but all models considered.

I will start a new blog in the New Year but if anyone has anything for sale, please personal message me or reply to this blog.

Thank you for any help.

I have a scott Tri bike with aero bars, the smaller 26"inch wheels, ok shimano gearing and ok rims, shimano system pedals - not exactly used much since I raced once here in Thailand. About 10-12 years old now; metal frame (not carbon). has the shifters on the end of the aero bars; very comfortable bike to ride, and I acheived some success both back where I grew up and also in the one race i did here, due to the comfort level of the bike.

Sitting on a stationary trainer.

PM me if interested; currently in BKK.
